How the Competition will Work
Please find below an outline of how the competition works in five stages. Should you have any questions relating to the rules and regulations please email protege@uk.rlb.com for further clarification.
Stage 1 - Review the eligibility criteria and answer the questions to confirm your eligibility.
Stage 2 - After reviewing the eligibility criteria you will be able to assess whether or not you are eligible for entry into Protege 2010:
- If not eligible, you may still wish to continue with the self selection and application process as you could still be considered for our general graduate/intern and summer placement positions, but you will not be eligible to take part in the later stages of the competition (stage 5 ).
- If eligible, you should continue with the application process by successfully completing the self-selection questions and then proceed to complete a competency based questionnaire/application form for submission by the deadline of 19 January 2009.
- On receipt of your completed questionnaire/application form you will receive a response from the judging panel within 21 working days informing you whether or not your application for Protege 2010 has been successful.
Stage 3 - If successful, you will be invited to undertake a further remote test / telephone interview from December 2009, after which you will be informed within 21 working days as to whether you are through to the next stage of the process.
Stage 4 - If successful, you will be invited to a formal assessment centre on 9 February 2010 in London. If you make it successfully through this process offers of employment will be made to the successful candidates and those who formally accept offers will be eligible to progress to the next stage.
Stage 5 - Final stages of the Protege initiative will take the form of a fun business challenge with David Bucknall and an awards ceremony taking place in Spring 2010 at the RICS Headquarters in Westminster. There will be further opportunities to work in one of RLB's global offices as part of a short working holiday.
